about

the first release on jupiter's moon (joop 001) is from the dolphin post a 'nom de pluck' for norfolk based songwriter. recorded late at night after his wife has gone to bed - hence the hushed vocals - this release contains songs of love, anger and frustration at both personal and social issues.

that doesn't mean "and this is another song about urban deprivation" it just means that the genesis of each song is an emotional response to an outside influence. the dolphin post are happy to wear their heart on their sleeve, their politics on their lapel and, sadly, their dinner down their front......
